1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dentalverse ("the Platform"), operated by Denverse Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17146294), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses the Platform at dentalverse.app.

2. Description of Service

Dentalverse is an educational platform designed exclusively for dental students and dental professionals. The Platform provides interactive study tools (AI-powered Teach Me, Quiz Me, AI Chat, Deep Dive, Confusion Detector), clinical reference libraries covering drugs, anesthesia, anatomy, procedures, medical conditions and clinical mistakes, a daily Memory Engine with personalized study content, INBDE preparation with study cards and AI-generated practice questions, a curated video library with embedded third-party YouTube content and timestamped study notes, educational dose calculators for medications and local anesthetics, social features for connecting with classmates, and personal notes and library management.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm you are 16 or older and are accessing the Platform for educational purposes related to dental studies or practice. Users under 18 should ensure they have appropriate parental or guardian awareness of their use of the Platform.

4. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration; maintain and update your account information; keep your password secure; accept responsibility for all activity under your account; and notify us immediately at support@dentalverse.app if you suspect unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Phone verification: As part of the onboarding process, you are required to verify your phone number via SMS. This is mandatory and is used to prevent spam and multi-account abuse. Each phone number may only be linked to one Dentalverse account. Verification is provided through Twilio. You cannot access the Platform without completing phone verification.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Dentalverse offers the following paid subscription plans:

Free Plan: All users receive a permanent free account with limited access to content and AI-powered features. Usage limits apply per feature (e.g. 1 Teach Me use, 10 AI Chat messages) and only a sample of each content area is unlocked. No payment is required for the free plan. Upgrade to Pro at any time to unlock full access.

Pro Plan — Credit Budget: Pro subscribers receive a shared budget of 100,000 AI credits per month across all AI-powered features. Credits are a cost-normalized unit — each AI interaction consumes credits proportional to its actual computational cost, so more complex requests use more credits. Credit usage resets at the start of each billing period. If you exceed your monthly credit budget, AI features will be paused until the next billing period begins, or you may purchase a credit recharge.

Credit Tracking: Credit usage is not displayed on individual AI responses. You can view your total credit consumption, remaining balance, and per-feature breakdown at any time in the AI Usage section within your account Settings. Credit tracking begins from the moment your Pro subscription is activated and is calculated from your billing period start date.

Credit Recharge: Pro subscribers who exhaust their monthly credit budget may purchase additional credits as a one-time top-up of 50,000 credits for $5.00 USD. Recharge credits are added to your account balance immediately and persist across billing periods until consumed. Unused recharge credits are not lost when your subscription renews — they carry over and are available alongside your fresh monthly budget. If your subscription lapses, any remaining recharge credits are preserved and become available again when you re-subscribe. Credit recharge purchases are non-refundable.

• Subscriptions are billed automatically at the start of each billing period.
• All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes may apply based on your location.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.
• You will receive an email receipt for every charge to the address on your account.
• We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@dentalverse.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle, except as described in our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: violate any applicable law or regulation; reproduce, distribute, or resell Platform content without permission; share your account credentials with others; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract Platform data; upload malicious content or attempt to compromise Platform security; use AI features to generate content that misrepresents clinical facts or constitutes medical advice to patients; harass, abuse, or harm other users through community features; or rely on the dose calculators, video library, or any other Platform content as the sole basis for clinical decisions on real patients.

No patient-identifying information. Any notes you create on the Platform — including timestamped video notes, personal study notes, and uploaded files — must never contain identifiable patient information. The Platform is a study tool, not a clinical record system, and is not designed to meet the requirements of HIPAA (US), UK GDPR, EU GDPR, KVKK (Turkey), or any other patient-data regulation. We may remove content that appears to contain identifiable patient data.

8. Intellectual Property

All original content on the Platform — including text, images, AI-generated study material, case scenarios, dose calculator rules and logic, database content, and software — is the intellectual property of Denverse Ltd or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal educational purposes only.

User-generated content (notes, timestamped video notes, uploaded files) remains your property. By creating or uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display it solely to deliver the service to you.

Third-party embedded content. The video library embeds YouTube videos via YouTube's official iframe player. Those videos remain the intellectual property of their respective creators and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. Dentalverse does not own, host, or modify any embedded video. If a creator removes a video, makes it private, or disables embedding, it will no longer play through the Platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Denverse Ltd makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content — including dose calculator outputs, embedded video content, AI-generated responses, and clinical reference material. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Denverse Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. This expressly includes any harm, loss, clinical error, adverse patient outcome, examination failure, or other consequence arising from reliance on a dose calculator output, the content of an embedded video, a drug or anesthesia reference entry, an AI-generated study response, or any other educational material on the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The dose calculators are educational study tools. No output is a prescription or a recommendation for any specific patient. Users remain solely responsible for verifying any dose, formulation, contraindication, or clinical decision against current authoritative sources — including manufacturer prescribing information, Malamed's Handbook of Local Anesthesia (for LA), the ADA Guide to Dental Therapeutics (for medications), and applicable local guidelines — before applying it in clinical practice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
