Our Community
Dentalverse brings together dental students and professionals from around the world. These guidelines exist to ensure the Platform remains a safe, respectful, and educationally productive environment for everyone.
Be Respectful
Treat all users with courtesy and professionalism. We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks of any kind — in messages, profiles, or any content shared on the Platform. Disagreements about clinical topics should be expressed respectfully and constructively.
Protect Patient Confidentiality
Never share patient information on the Platform. This includes real patient cases, clinical records, photographs, or any data that could identify an individual. All clinical discussions must use anonymised, hypothetical, or fictional scenarios. This is both a professional and legal obligation.
Personal notes and video notes: The timestamped notes you create while watching videos, and your personal notes elsewhere on the Platform, must not contain identifiable patient information. Dentalverse is a study tool, not a clinical record system, and is not designed to comply with HIPAA (US), UK GDPR, EU GDPR, KVKK (Turkey), or any other patient-data regulation. Keep any case-based study material you write fully anonymised.
Share Knowledge Responsibly
When sharing study content or clinical information, clearly label it as educational. Do not present AI-generated content, personal notes, or unverified information as official clinical guidance. Always recommend fellow users verify content with authoritative sources.
No Spam or Commercial Activity
Do not use the Platform to send unsolicited messages, promote external services, or conduct any commercial activity. The messaging and connection features are for educational networking only.
Academic Integrity
Do not use Dentalverse AI features to complete graded assessments, examinations, or academic work dishonestly. Use of AI study tools is subject to your institution's academic integrity policies. We support ethical, supplementary use of AI as a learning aid.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, report it to support@dentalverse.app. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include a warning, content removal, or account suspension.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination depending on severity. Serious violations including sharing patient data or engaging in harassment will result in immediate account termination.
