Copyright & Intellectual Property

1. Ownership
All content on the Dentalverse Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, data compilations, AI-generated study materials, case scenarios, flashcard content, and software — is the property of Denverse Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright law.
2. Permitted Use
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Platform content for your own educational study. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or republish any Platform content without written permission
- Sell, distribute, or sublicense content to third parties
- Use content for commercial purposes
- Remove or alter copyright notices or proprietary markings
- Systematically download or scrape Platform content
3. User Content
Notes, timestamped video study notes, files, and other content you create or upload remain your intellectual property. By uploading or creating content, you grant Denverse Ltd a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring any content you upload does not infringe third-party rights.
4. Embedded Third-Party Video Content
The Dentalverse Video Library embeds YouTube videos via YouTube's official iframe player (youtube-nocookie.com). Dentalverse does not host, modify, re-host, or claim any ownership of embedded video content. Copyright in each embedded video remains with its original creator.
Our curation layer — the playlist ordering, study plans, chapter markers, specialty categorisation, and the surrounding study-tool features — is copyrighted by Denverse Ltd. The videos themselves are not.
If you are the rights holder of a video embedded via the Video Library and wish to have the embed removed from Dentalverse, please submit a takedown notice as described in the DMCA / Copyright Takedown section below. You may alternatively disable embedding on your original YouTube upload, which will remove the video from Dentalverse automatically without any action from us.
5. Dose Calculator Rules
The dose calculator rule set — the structure of rules, the way constraints are visualised, the UI, and the surrounding study-tool logic — is copyrighted by Denverse Ltd. The underlying dosing values (mg/kg, MRDs, vasoconstrictor caps, duration profiles, etc.) are derived from publicly available authoritative references (AHA 2021 IE prophylaxis guidelines, Malamed's Handbook of Local Anesthesia, ADA Guide to Dental Therapeutics, AAPD Reference Manual, FDA DailyMed manufacturer prescribing information). Each rule displays its source inline.
Those source references remain the copyright of their respective publishers. Students should consult the original sources directly when preparing for examinations or verifying information for clinical use.
6. DMCA / Copyright Takedown
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to info@dentalverse.app including:
- Your name, address, and contact information
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on our Platform
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
- Your electronic or physical signature
We will respond to valid takedown requests within 10 business days.
