1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and how you use the site. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others are used for analytics or improved functionality.

Functional Cookies

Used to remember your preferences such as study settings, UI state, and last-visited sections. These improve your experience but are not strictly necessary.

Analytics Cookies

We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog to collect anonymised data about page visits, feature usage, and Platform performance. PostHog is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) and processes usage data to help us understand how the Platform is used and improve the experience. Third-Party Cookies — Stripe

Stripe may set cookies during the payment process to detect fraud and ensure secure transactions. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Cookies — YouTube (Video Library)

The Video Library embeds YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced iframe player (youtube-nocookie.com). In this mode, no cookies are set and no data is sent to YouTube when the page loads. Cookies and tracking are only activated when you actively press play on a video.

Once playback is initiated, YouTube (Google LLC) may set cookies related to video playback, language preferences, and — if you are signed in to Google in the same browser — cookies linked to your Google account. These cookies are governed by Google's Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. Dentalverse does not control or read YouTube cookies.

Tip: to prevent any YouTube tracking, simply avoid pressing play on embedded videos, or sign out of Google in the browser you use for Dentalverse.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not share cookie data with advertising networks.

3. Managing Cookies
